A properly paved parking lot or driveway is a long term investment in your place of business, home or your community. Done correctly, it can add to the value of your property. Done poorly, it can not only detract from the appearance of your property, it can actually cause other problems that can cost you money.

Good Foundation
Like any good construction project, a good foundation is essential longevity of parking lots or driveways. Our foundation starts with 6 to 8 inches of modified stone leveled over the graded and compacted site. Modified stone is usually ¾” stone mixed with stone dust for proper compaction. Then we add 2 to 3 inches of bituminous base asphalt to maximize the load bearing capacity. We finish with a top layer of 2” SuperPave wearing course. Compaction is critical to a final project

If there are drainage problems, they must be solved first. Standing water can undermine the foundation and will create icing problems in the winter. We must install a drain.

Parking Lot Finishing
We can lay-out, stripe, and letter your parking lot to conform to local code. Add concrete, plastic, or rubber bumpers to protect fences and buildings from damage. Speed bumps on your commercial private roadway or parking lot can increase the safety of pedestrians and other drivers.

The Right Job Saves Money
A properly constructed parking lot or driveway, even under heavy traffic conditions, will last for years. But a poor foundation or a drainage problem left unsolved may lead to an expensive replacement job after 2 to 3 years. We do the job right the first time.

Win, from Teikoku Japanese Restaurant in Newtown Square, Pa chose Latsios Paving to have his parking lot removed, replaced, and enlarged. He was thrilled with the results. We also supplied him and installed large decorative boulders, placed inside and outside of his restaurant for a beautiful Japanese display.

St. Dorothy Church in Drexel Hill had their entire, very large parking lot totally rebuilt. We installed a few new drains, repaired old broken up asphalt with new stone, base asphalt and top. We restriped the entire lot including handicap spaces.

Mr. and Mrs. Ramirez of Glen Mills, had a badly cracked and broken up driveway at their home in Glen Mills, PA. They had nothing but praise for us. “Thanks, Latsios for the wonderful job that you did at our home." We removed their entire driveway to 12” depth and added new stone and asphalt. The new beautiful driveway made their home look clean and classy.

Greg Papas driveway had broken edges, caused by cars driving off the edges of the asphalt. We installed steel edging to prevent that from ever happening again.
